Contained within a rectangular bracket flanked on either side by a pair of fu lions carved in the round, a central decorative panel finely reticulated with bats surrounding a Chinese character, similar decoration continuing above the feet, archaistic dragon panels along the adjustable standard and supporting the lampshade
