Chinese Jade Carvings and Works of Art from the Estate of Dean S. M. Field. Dean Fields (1917-2001) initially worked for the H. Forth Gem Lab before becoming the head gem buyer for the T. Eaton Co., for which he traveled to China numerous times in the late 1950’s. Afterwards, he was one of the founders of the Canadian Gemological Association and opened up the Real & Rare Gallery on Yonge Street in Toronto.
