As apprentice of Wang Yeting (1884-1942), Wang Yunguan was also a leading famille-rose artist from Republican Period. His massive landscape panel ‘Jing Kang Mountain’ hung on the west chamber of Great Hall of the People, Beijing. For a comparable example, see Guardian Beijing, November 20, 2010, lot 3456.
