The first of bulbous-form and rising towards a wide rim, the whole supported on a lotus stand and decorated with scenes of flora and fauna; the second with archaistic patterning and wide rim; the third with a pear-shape body and tall cylindrical neck, the sides smooth and undecorated
tallest height 8.3" — 21 cm.

Provenance:

Lots 23-26, 30, 47, 56, 117, 119: Chinese and Japanese Works of Art from a Japanese Family
Acquired by the president of an American-Japanese trading company during the first-half of the 20th Century. They specialized in importing and exporting goods from China and locations Tokyo, Yokohama, and Karuizawa Thence by descent within the family and brought to Canada in 1979.
