Note:

While Sherriff Scott is known primarily for his portraits of Inuit and First Nations people, he also produced works depicting mythological scenes such as Leda and The Swan and this lot. In this story, the Phoenician princess Europa is abducted by Zeus in the guise of a white bull and is carried off the island of Crete where she becomes the mother of King Minos.
