Lot 1023 Details
1985 Jaboulet Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert (1); 1999 Tardieu Laurent Hermitage Blanc (3)

Deep color, rich and concentrated with herbal, tobacco and weedy flavors that overshadow the ripe berry and cherry flavors. In the end the fruit comes through. Wine Spectator 85/100;

This has a broad, soft core of creamed peach, nectarine and Jonagold apple flavors, but the edges are fresh and mouthwatering, with quinine, verbena and candied lemon peel notes. A lingering chamomile hint adds more length. Drink now. Wine Spectator 89/100;

Rhone, France 4 Bottles (750 ml)

Estimate $600-$700
