PAT TADDY

“Every vessel is an individual making a statement from the emphatic to he gently suggestive, that it be used in a certain context and in a particular manner. The context might range from the frivolous to the sober, from casual to formal. The relationship between user and objet can be open and easy, as if between comfortable and well tested friends, or it can tend toward the reserved and cautious as between acquaintances wary and unsure of one another.”

- Pat Taddy -

Pat Taddy graduated with a Bachelor or Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1993 and a Master of Fine Arts from Kansas University. He received the B.C. Telephone scholarship from Emily Carr College in 1990 and the David Lambert Memorial Award in 1991. He is Senior Studio Technician in the Visual Arts department of the University of Simon Fraser Valley.
