ARTO YUZBASIYAN (1948 - )

Arto Yuzbasiyan was born in 1948 in Istanbul, Turkey and immigrated to Canada in 1973 , settling in Toronto. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1975, including shows in New York, Paris, Montreal and Quebec City. Yuzbasiyan is best known for his paintings depicting the city of Toronto, its streets and neighborhoods. His work is found in prominent collections in Canada, the United States, England, Australia and France.
