Provenance:

Private Collection, Toronto

Note:

Joe Fleming is a Toronto-based artist who has been exhibiting internationally for over 15 years. Working on industrial polycarbonate, Fleming’s surfaces are scratched and layered with vivid colour. The translucent nature of the material works to visually dissolve the boundaries between the work and the wall on which it is displayed. His painterly gestures are bold and generous, abstracted and sculptural.

Fleming’s work is in major corporate and private collections including BMO Financial, HSBC Bank, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the Canadian High Commission, the Australian High Commission, and has been exhibited throughout the world in Kuala Lampur, Singapore, Paris, Miami, New York, Los Angeles and Cologne. He is represented in Toronto by General Hardware Contemporary.
