tempera on panel, the three quarter length figure depicted with one hand raised in blessing, the other holding bible, flanked by full figures of Christ with the Gospels and Mary offering the Episcopal stole, the composition finely rendered in bright colours against a blue ground within oxblood surround with gilt ‘slip’ and further decorative elements
