Note:

The late J.P. Bickell served as President, Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of Maple Leaf Gardens from its inauguration in 1931 until 1951. A businessman and hockey executive, the “J.P. Bickell Memorial Award” was named in his honour. Over the years, the award was presented to a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs who performed with a very high standard of excellence as a player or within the executive office. The Bickell was last awarded in 1999 to Mats Sundin and Curtis Joseph.
