the plates finely painted in white enamel with birds and insects amongst flowering shrubs within pierced gilt Greek key borders, comprising eighteen pieces:

five signed Leroy, impressed marks, painted pattern numbers G2660/7 and printed marks in puce including retailers’ marks for T. Goode & Co., London

CONDITION DETAILS

There is no painted decoration at all on the two comports; five of the plates are signed Leroy (all in good condition); hairline crack at centre of one unsigned plate and small cracks at rim of another; repair to rim of low cake stand; otherwise in good condition
