with lion’s heads issuing reeded handles capped with leaves and shells at the ends, the domed cover with a fluted border and finial handle conforming, the moulded gadroon rim set with leaves, shells and palmettes at intervals, all on four massive paw feet headed by shells and scrolling leaves; engraved on the cover and sides with dragon crests, armorials and motto METUENDA COROLLA DRACONIS
