of shaped circular form, pierced and moulded with fan panels and scrollwork, the multi-knopped stems cast with animal masks and leaves above domed circular bases pierced and moulded with bead borders, scrollwork and further masks

Burton Robert Parsons Persse, Esq., J.P., D.L., Moyode Castle, Co. Galway, b.1828, was a celebrated sportsman, Master of the Galway Hunt, ‘The Castle Boy Blazers’ for thirty years, until his death in 1885
