the funnel bowl with basal facets, engraved with armorials below a coronet, flanked by a profile portrait of Louis XV and crowned fleurs-de-lis above olive branches, inscribed LUD. XV. D. G. FR. ET NAV. REX O and BENEDICTUM 1728 SIT NOMEN DOMINI AA respectively, the rim with a border of scrolling strapwork and foliage reserved a heart pierced by two arrows, on a faceted teared stem and folded conical foot
height 7.2" — 18.2 cm.
