“BLACK FEET INDIANS OF GLACIER NATIONAL PARK” (THE BLACKFEET INDIAN EDUCATIONAL PORTFOLIO), 1947

Portfolio containing 24 “full color” lithographic prints of “Blackfeet Indians drawn from life” after portraits by Winold Reiss, together with a booklet of text by Frank Bird Linderman contained in an envelope, the cover illustrated with colour block printed title and vignettes of native hunters and horses. Published by Great Northern Railway Co. in 1947 for St. Paul Book & Stationary Co., St. Paul, Minnesota, with original price “One Dollar Fifty Cents” printed on envelope flap and with 1940 copyright stamp. Loose as issued. Contained in the original envelope.
Each sheet/Portfolio overall 12" x 9" — 30.5 x 22.9 cm.
