HEXAGONE, 1988 (ONE FROM THE SET OF 10 PLEXIGLASS HEXAGONAL CASES CONTAINING 4 BOOKS EACH), 1988

Four interchangable volumes of hardcover books of the artist’s oeuvre contained in a plexiglass case in the shape of a hexagon; incised signature with stamped number 0827/1500 to the plexiglass cover, signed and numbered 827/1500 in ink to justification page. Contained in the original black linen wrapped presentation box signed “Vasarely” in white ink on cover.
Hexagonal plexiglass/Overall 10.25" x 11.75" — 26 x 29.8 cm.; 14.6" x 14.4" — 37 x 36.5 cm.
