from whom purchased by the present Private Collection, Canada, circa 1992

Note:

Handdrawn at the lithography atelier of Landfall Press in Chicago, Christo executed this collaged lithograph after a sculpture he created in the 1960’s for the important collector Marchese Annibale Berlingieri from Rome. The sculpture was inspired by an antique carriage Christo observed on the property of Berlingieri’s country villa in Taranto.
