Note:

Kunihiro Amano is a leading Japanese artist who rose to importance in the mid 20th century. He is a member of the Japanese Print Association and of Kokuga-kei.

Amano's list of international exhibitions and awards is long and impressive. In 1968 the year this print was executed, Amano received an award at the 2nd Pistoia International Print Biennial exhibition, Italy and he exhibited at the Bradford International Print Biennial held in England.
