Etching and engraving on laid paper with "E. Desloye et C." (Netherlands and Paris) watermark; signed "P. Paul Rubens fecit" in the plate lower left. Contained in an antique Florentine silver gilt carved wood and gilded frame.

This etching is considered to be the only print to be executed by Rubens himself. Rubens probably made no more than three etchings. This sheet depicts the saint atop the wheel of her martyrdom, just as Rubens painted her in the Jesuit church in Antwerp (1620/21).
