TENUTA SETTE PONTI ORENO 2010 (3)

Tuscany.
u. 3 x bn. 2 x scuffed labels

Love the aromas to this red with currants, blackberries and hints of dark truffles. Full-bodied, with beautifully crafted tannins that are creamy and seamless. Fabulous refinement and length. Leave it in your cellar for at least four or five years. But impressive to taste or drink now. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. One of best Orenos ever made since its inception in 1999. November 2014 jamessuckling.com JS 96

TENUTA SETTE PONTI ORMA 2011 (9)

Tuscany.
u. 1 x bn.

Best Paleo ever here. Incredible concentration of fruit, yet racy and balanced. The palate is crazy. It's like chocolate olive oil cake. Beautiful fruit, with dark berries, olive leaf and chocolate. Love the texture. The best pure Cabernet Franc on earth? Can't wait to drink it. Better in 2014. August 2011 jamessuckling.com JS 97
