JONATA EL DESAFIO DE JONATA 2007 (6) 97 WA
Lot 185 Details
BRYANT FAMILY CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2006 (1)
Napa Valley.

A very strong effort, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a sweet perfume of blue and black fruits intermixed with hints of toasty oak, graphite, truffles, and forest floor. Full-bodied, rich, and concentrated with remarkably silky tannins for a 2006, it will benefit from 3-4 more years of cellaring, and should keep for 20-25 years. December 2009 94+ WA

JONATA EL DESAFIO DE JONATA 2007 (6)
Central Coast, California.
u. 6 x vts.

Leading off the Cabernet-dominated releases, the 2007 El Desafio de Jonata (95% Cabernet Sauvignon the balance Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, aged in 85% new French oak) also has to be one of the top Cabernets to come out of Santa Barbara. Offering up gorgeous black currant, Asian spice, graphite, chocolate and minerality, it flows onto the palate like a barrel sample with its layers of fruit and big tannin. Still a baby, it could have 20-30 years of total longevity. Drink 2015-2027+ August 2013 97 WA
