Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2009 Velvet Glove offers ripe and rich black cherry aromas that are very fragrant and youthful with accents of licorice and toast, marmite and blueberry pie. Very spicy, rich and full-bodied in the mouth, it has a bright acid line, medium-firm, grainy tannins and a long and voluptuous length on the finish. Drink it from 2014 to 2025+. 97 WA
