MACULAN ACININOBILI 1995 (15 HF. BT., OWC) WA 95
Lot 446 Details
MACULAN ACININOBILI 1995 (OWC)

Veneto.
u. 10 x bn. 5 x vts. 4 scuffed labels

15 half bottles in opened original case. This extraordinary 1995 Acininobili is made along the lines of what the Alsatiens call selection de grains nobles - individual grapes with noble rot are harvested, as opposed to bunches. The color is medium gold, and the wine is fabulously rich, with great opulence, and a powerful, full-bodied, super-concentrated style not unlike a top vintage of Yquem. It boasts 150 grams per liter of residual sugar, and just under 13% alcohol. Full-bodied and thick, with superbly integrated wood and acidity, this exquisite dessert wine should evolve for 15-20 years. October 1998 WA 95
