the two part barrel having silver inlaid date, rose vine and decorative patterns and impressed gold maker’s marks ‘Pistola’, lion and proof marks and with chiselled anthemion reducing collar in a mahogany stock with ornate silver furniture marked on the tang and butplate and with armorial crest
