Note:

Angel and his wife, Christiane Botello, adopted three children. This scene depicts their daughter, Francoise, born in 1962 at about the age of 3.

The children became one of the greatest most lasting and important influences in Angel’s life and work. They were a source of artistic inspiration which was reflected in his paintings where they appear as models or protagonists.
