STUDY FOR TRIUMPH OF THE MEDICI, PALAZZO PITTI FRESCO DESIGN, 1643

Graphite heightened with white on blue watercolour ground on laid paper with colour key annotations in pen and ink, the verso with sepia pen and ink hand-written invoice in Latin with a list of dates for materials. A red wax seal with indistinct script monogram including the initials “WB” and others initials to the verso. Unframed.
