Lot Report

Note:

Tutsweetok describes her sculpting technique: “I prefer to carve by the shape of the stone. If there is a curved area, I’ll put a head there.” The artist points out that when she first started using power tools she wasn’t confident with them, but now she feels “comfortable with them” for “fixing the body of the sculpture.” When creating faces she uses an axe or files to shape the nose or mouth.
