Note:

The finely incised lines of the nassaq, a traditional crocheted hat, and boot tassels create an astonishingly life-like impression, despite the diminutive size of the work. Networksk of assured lines create the hair that peeks out from the man’s cap; these same quick incisions create wrinkles around the exhausted hunter’s face. This confident sculpting could only be at the hand of an early master from Arcitc Quebec.
