Note:

During 1926 Casson was invited to become a full member of the Group of Seven. He was also elected, in the same year, to the Royal Canadian Academy, was a co-founder of a major national society, The Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour and joined the commercial art firm of Sampson Matthews Limited.

This work is being sold to benefit the St. George’s Society of Toronto and the Ontario College of Art and Design.
