Dentay, Toronto in March 1953 (with the original Canadian Import Certificate and original cost being 35.00 pounds sterling) and with a letter from the Old Masters Galleries dated 30 April 1953 describing this lot as "probably by Cornelis Decker" being from a former collection attributed to him;
Gifted to the present Private Collection, Brampton, ON
