Collection of Yosef Drenters, Rockwood Academy, Rockwood, ON, typed label verso;

Note:

Canadian sculptor, Yosef (Joseph) Drenters (1930-1983), purchased the Academy property in 1960 when he was 29 years of age. Seeking a home and studio, Drenters purchased the derelict property and began the restoration project over a 20-year period.

A typed note of provenance verso is further inscribed: "For Ian to see/ Jan. 1, 1981" attached to the stretcher.
