Note:

The 1946 production of "La nuit des rois" (Twelfth Night) by William Shakespeare was born out of the collaboration between Quebec painter Alfred Pellan and Father Émile Legault, director of Les Compagnons de Saint Laurent. Pellan's expressionistic set designs and elaborate costumes made a lasting impact in the history of Quebec drama.
