Note:
Quebec House was Wolfe’s childhood home, and was purchased by Montreal merchant Joseph Bowles Learmont "to secure the property for the Canadian people" and "so that it may be open to visitors and free to all that are interested in Canada". His widow endowed the property to the National Trust on her death.
