Acquired directly from the artist by the consignor during a fishing trip to Povungnituk/Puvirnituq in 1970.

Note:

One of Joe’s favourite subjects, owls, frequently appear in his prints and as carvings. Talirunili’s owls are almost prehistoric looking.
