TWO SIGNED ROYAL NAVY OFFICE DOCUMENTS, 1671 AND 1674

including: a 1 page letter dated 16th July, [16]74 to Mr. Hosier granting a warrant for pay, signed by Samuel Pepys, John Pepys, William 2nd Viscoutnt Brouncker, Sir John Ernle, Thomas Allen, Sir Richard R. Haddock, and Thomas Hayster; and a 2 page requisition dated 13 June, 1672, to ‘the Storekeeper and Clerk of the Charge of HIs Majesty’s yard at Deptford’ to issue ‘such a number of Hammanods [sic] into nine merchant ships undermentioned to serve as men of war’ followed by a list of the ships and the number of men serving on each, signed by Samuel Pepys, William 2nd Viscount Brouncker and J. E. Smyth, accompanied by signed photograph of Henry B. Wheatley and a letter from his grandson to G.W. Whitear
