signed at Whitehall and dated July 19th, to Sir Robert Long (d.1699), Clerk of the Pells, with instructions for payments to Dame Rebecca Williams ‘for the keeping of her house in the New Palace in Westminster ready furnished with household stuffs & accommodations for the reception of such ambassadors as shall be fitt to be lodged there’ counter signed by Thomas Clifford, 1st Baron Clifford of Chudleigh (1630-1673), Sir John Duncombe (1622-1687), Lord Ashley and Sir William Coventry (1628-1686)
